Summer Fun Roll Series Begin May 2013. Details: Event Page.
Resumes spring (May)2013. Tour the greater Salt Lake area on skates: Provo River Canyon, Lehi Trail. Draper Trail, Jordan River Trail Legacy Trail, Murdock Canal Trail, Park City Rail Trail, and more. These are moderate-easy paced skates of 10-20-30 miles, with some rolling terrain.

ONGOING LEGACY Trail Skates:  Resumes spring 2013. Informal group skates/training meets most every Saturday/Sunday mid-morning. Contact SkateNow for times. Meets at Center Street Trail head.

ONGOING CONE & SLALOM Open Skates:  Resumes spring 2013. Informal skate group for all. Easy Laps, agility work, cones, slalom, social/fun skate. Meets most every Wednesday's 6:30pm at Liberty Park, near Tracy Aviary parking lot. Contact SkateNow for more info.

We are working to bring you the best possible skating in Utah!
Skater's now is the time to get involved to help promote the sport and take action to ensure safe and good trail conditions for your sport.  If we act collectively we can achieve more for our sport.

SALT LAKE VELODROME!!

Local Skating News!!  Draper City has approved an outdoor velodrome park. The facility will include either a banked track or a 200 meter flat track course for inline skating, a flat area for slalom, derby, and exhibition skating!  There is also a criterium course approved as part of the project, which can be used for roller sports as well.  The movement initiated by local cyclist groups and SkateNow (the sole advocate for Utah's community of skaters). We've been there from the beginning, supporting your needs to get a Velodrome facility built with an inline track in the greater Salt Lake area for roller sports,  Our efforts are finally paying off, but we still need your continued support.  For both skaters and cyclist alike, this is a great opportunity to get involved to help find sponsors and folks to assist in the effort to make it happen.  For Roller Sports the idea of a track facility opens the doors to having National and International Invitational events, and even World Competitions for inline, as well as Roller Derby League skating meets.  This is a huge step forward for Utah Roller sports. SkateNow completely supports the VeloDrome facility efforts with a sanctioned inner 200 meter & 100 meter track, meeting USARS standards for Roller Sports.

JOIN SALT LAKE INLINE SKATE CLUB (SLIC)!

Because you like to skate!!
We are proudly announcing open enrollment for Salt Lake Inline Skate Club. 

Salt Lake Inline Skate Club(SLIC):  Meets 1x or 2x per week for social / fun skates.  Meets for skates at different locations around the valley to give skaters opportunity to explore various pathways throughout greater Salt Lake area.  Organizes social skates, fun-rolls, and club events.  Open to groups, families, individuals. 

Skate Club Leader(s): The club is looking for a few volunteer leaders to assist with organizing Club activities. Could this be YOU?!   (you do not have to be a skater  - maybe you just know one - but we do need you to be savvy with organizing activities (of course).  

Skate Club membership fees:  $20 / per person annually.  (12 month membership)

Inline Skate Club Members will receive:

• Skate Club membership card
• Access to the Salt Lake Inline Skate Club(SLIC) web site / groups.
  
• T-shirt / Sports jersey (purchased separately)

JOIN SKATENOW SPEED!

Because you skate..... but, mostly because you like to go FAST!!

We are proudly announcing open enrollment for SkateNow Speed Team. 

SkateNow Speed Team: Meets 2x per week for training sessions, and 1x per week other activity (dryland/cycling/easy skate). Speed Team members must commit to 2 or more out-of-state race events, and meet a min. of 2x per week for scheduled practices/training times. Closed training schedules will be posted on the Team Web Site (Access to Team members only).  Other training can be done OYO. (just keep a log).  Currently, Speed Team members will be responsible for their own monetary funding getting to/from race venues, entry fees, and associated costs. Team members will receive discounts at 'the SkateNow shop' and discounts on Team uniforms. We are actively seeking sponsorship.  Team Captains: Eric Kraan, Uel Archulette, & Eric Lineback will head up the Speed Team.

Sponsorships:  SkateNow will sponsor the Speed Team.  If you are interested in sponsoring the Speed Team, please contact us.  We have skin suits being made, and will do graphics once the suit design is approved.  If your company our business would like to help support the Speed Team / Club, we can add your logo to the skins in exchange for sponsorship. Team Sponosrship includes:   Monetary assistance with uniform costs, portions / all of race entries paid, event travel funding, etc.,   ...whatever you can spare to keep the sport alive!! 

Speed Team membership fees:  $50 / per person annually.  (12 month membership)

Inline Skate Club Members will receive:

• Club and  Speed Team membership card
• Access to the Salt Lake Inline Skate Club(SLIC) & SkateNow Speed Team web site / groups.
